Donna Horak earned a Minor in History from St. Joseph’s College in Brooklyn and a B.A. degree in Psychology with a Minor in Sociology from Marymount College in Tarrytown, N. Y.
She was employed as a Training Director for Local 74 of the S.E.I.U. and has held Training positions for the American Management Assoc., S.U.N.Y. Albany and MetroPlus Healthplan.
Donna is a member of the Manhattan Chapter of the Daughters of the American Revolution, Fraunces Tavern Museum and the Mecklenburg Historical Association.
Captain John “Jack” Walsh, a lifelong Brooklyn resident, has devoted his life to service. An Eagle Scout, he earned the NYC Medal of Honor as a high school senior after heroically saving a veteran on a subway track.
Following service in the U.S. Army, Jack enjoyed a distinguished career with the NYPD, where he was decorated more than 75 times for valor and retired as Captain. He later served as Chief of Police in Milford, Massachusetts and as Assistant Deputy Commissioner of the NYC Human Resources Administration.
Holding multiple graduate degrees, he also taught at John Jay College of Criminal Justice, continuing his lifelong commitment to leadership and education.
Marvin Liang
Marvin Liang serves on the Board of Directors for United Cultural Association Inc., where he contributes expertise in education, community outreach, and volunteer services. A lifelong Brooklynite, Marvin began volunteering at the age of eight as a Boy Scout, sparking a passion for service that continues to guide his work today.
With a background in childhood education, he is committed to advancing the organization’s mission of improving the community and ensuring everyone has access to resources. Marvin also volunteers regularly at organizational events, allowing him to engage directly with the community and see firsthand the impact of the Association’s work. In this role, he provides strategic guidance, supports community partnerships, and helps ensure strong organizational governance.
Lester Chang was elected to the New York State Assembly on November 8, 2022. The 49th Assembly District represents parts of Kings County. Lester is committed to serving New Yorkers as they try to earn a living, raise their families, educate their children, and live in a safe, secure environment. He will support more charter schools, fewer business regulations, compassion for the homeless, and respect the needs of all New Yorkers.
While serving in the Legislature, Lester will fight to reduce rampant crime, fix broken bail and parole laws, support law enforcement, lift the charter school cap, stop mandated curriculum for private schools, and provide meaningful, substantive support services for the homeless, veterans, and incarcerated individuals transitioning back to society.

In the community, Kenneth has been actively involved in major grassroots efforts, including serving as a lead organizer for Superstorm Sandy relief, saving the laundromat industry, supporting homeowners, leading campaigns with varying success against poorly planned homeless shelter placements, and helping spearhead the defense of the SHSAT admissions exam. He has also organized and supported numerous initiatives focused on education, small businesses, public safety, and neighborhood stability. Committed to practical solutions and civic engagement, Kenneth continues to work to strengthen and empower New York’s communities.
